The developers at Dispatch are now discussing the possibility of a second season, which they weren’t confident about just a few weeks ago.
Dispatch is a game where you use strategy to manage a team of heroes and former villains, all while experiencing a compelling story about a retired superhero.
The game launched less than a month ago and is already incredibly popular globally. With over a million copies sold in its first ten days, a fantastic ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam, and recognition as one of the best games of 2025, it’s clear there’s a lot of interest in it.
And for fans who want more, the studio has just spoken about the possibility of Season 2.
Dispatch devs weigh in on Season 2
I was listening to The Friends Per Second podcast, and they were chatting with the folks over at Adhoc Studio – Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette. Someone asked them what they’re working on next, and that’s how the conversation started, according to Eurogamer.
Great news for fans of DISPATCH! A second season is officially happening. Just a few weeks ago, it was uncertain, but now it’s confirmed – let’s go! #DISPATCH

Shorette suggested they should start planning for a second season. Just three weeks ago, the possibility of a Season 2 was uncertain.
However, according to Shorette, Dispatch’s recent achievements appear to have changed the way the team is approaching things.
“That was a question mark three weeks ago. So, it’s a very cool problem to have,” he explained.
Dispatch is still finishing up, with the last episode coming out on November 12, 2025. Despite that, fans are already hoping for another season. Many have become attached to the characters and don’t want the story to end.
It’s awesome to hear that even Aaron Paul, the guy who is the main character, is hoping for more seasons! It’s not just us fans who want to see this continue, which is a really good sign.
I was so excited to hear Aaron Paul talk about Dispatch Season 2 on MoistCr1TiKaL’s channel! He basically said he really wants to come back and do a lot more seasons of the game, and honestly, me too! It sounds like he’s hoping for a long-running series, which is awesome to hear as a fan.

He expressed his desire to continue working on the game for many seasons, telling MoistCr1tikal, the voice of Sonar, that he hopes they’ll be able to create much more content together.
Even if a second season is made, it probably won’t be for a couple of years. That’s because Adhoc is currently working on an official video game based on Critical Role.
