Disney’s Cake Bake Shop Plans $200 “Dinner With Santa” Events in 2025

The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk will be holding a special “Dinner With Santa” event on select nights in November and December 2025. Dates for the event include November 18th, 25th, December 2nd, and December 9th.

Pricing, Payment, and Reservation Procedures

Tickets cost $200 for adults and $150 for children 12 and under. Please note that prices don’t include tax, and a 24% gratuity will be added to your bill. We require full payment when you book, and all payments are final – we don’t offer refunds or transfers.

To book a spot at The Cake Bake Shop, you’ll need to fill out a reservation form on their website – you can’t use OpenTable or the standard Disney dining reservation system. Please note that gift cards aren’t accepted for this special experience. Reservations require at least 48 hours’ notice, and due to popularity, all available dates are currently waitlist only.

What the Experience Includes

The dinner starts with festive drinks and appetizers – a selection of meats and cheeses for adults, and kid-friendly grilled cheese bites. Guests then select a main course, followed by a seasonal dessert from The Cake Bake Shop.

For adults, we have roasted chicken, beef bourguignon, and roasted leek pasta. Kids can choose from homemade chicken tenders, cavatappi & cheese, or cheeseburger sliders – all served with french fries.

Your ticket includes up to three drinks – these can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. If you’d like more, they’re available for purchase.

As a perk, every family gets a lovely professional photo with Santa – Disney PhotoPass makes it easy to get that classic shot as a digital download. But it doesn’t stop there! They also send you home with a ‘Bubbles the Bear’ cookie kit, which is a really cute sugar cookie you can decorate yourself with the included ingredients. It’s a sweet little takeaway that adds to the magic.

Context and Relevant Considerations

Even though The Cake Bake Shop is located inside Disney World, it’s not actually run by Disney. That means you need to make reservations directly through The Cake Bake Shop, not through Disney’s usual reservation system.

The event’s price has been a topic of discussion. People have been comparing it to the cost of other similar Disney experiences, like character meals or seasonal celebrations.

As a big foodie, I noticed The Cake Bake Shop was getting some buzz right after it opened in 2024 – and not all of it was good. People were talking about how expensive the cake slices were, with some costing $22 or more! It’s good to see they listened to customers, though, and went ahead and adjusted a few prices after hearing the feedback.

Because the event is only held for four nights, spaces are limited and very popular. The full waitlists for every date show how unusual it is to get a spot.
