At a recent event, Marvel Studios included Miles Morales on promotional material for Avengers: Secret Wars. While excitement is already high for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which boasts a huge cast of Marvel heroes, Secret Wars is predicted to be a truly unprecedented film. Because of the rumored scale of the movie, fans are frequently discussing when Miles Morales might finally appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
During a presentation in São Paulo, Brazil, Disney showcased its upcoming movies through 2027, including new installments of Star Wars, Gatto, and The Simpsons. Notably, they used a fan-created poster for the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars film, which featured a variety of characters from the Marvel multiverse. The Hollywood Handle shared details of the event, highlighting the unexpected use of fan-made artwork.

The poster was first created in July by a DeviantArt user named CameToGiveLuv. It features Doctor Doom – a major villain in both Doomsday and Secret Wars – alongside the Beyonder. Below them, and next to Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, is Miles Morales leaping into action with electrically charged fists. Fans of the recent Spider-Man games on PlayStation will recognize this version of Miles, as the games showed him gaining his powers and training to be a hero with Peter Parker.

Currently, it hasn’t been officially announced whether Spider-Man will be in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars. There’s also no news about Marvel Studios starting to cast Miles Morales, who is expected to be a major new character when he joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Currently planned as the 40th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the sixth Avengers movie, Avengers: Secret Wars will conclude Phase 6 of the Multiverse Saga. While over a dozen actors are confirmed to appear, details about the story are scarce, except that Robert Downey Jr. will play the primary villain, Doctor Doom. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 17, 2027.
Will Miles Morales Be in Avengers: Secret Wars?

The upcoming movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is predicted to dramatically change the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This could lead to some of the original heroes being replaced with new actors as the story continues into Phase 7 and beyond. The film also seems like a great opportunity to introduce Miles Morales, potentially alongside one or more of the previous live-action Spider-Men.
Fans are anticipating Miles Morales’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and there are two main possibilities: either as a version from another universe in this current movie, or by crossing paths with the main Spider-Man of the MCU in the 2026 film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, has stated that Miles won’t appear in the MCU until after Sony releases Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, currently scheduled for release in June 2027.
Considering everything, Miles Morales probably won’t appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe until at least Avengers: Secret Wars. However, Marvel has been hinting at his eventual introduction ever since Spider-Man’s first solo film in 2017.
Since ‘Secret Wars’ is still a ways off, fans can only wait and see how the Marvel Cinematic Universe develops leading up to it. This major storyline will wrap up Phase 6 of the MCU.
