Disney+ Is Now Streaming 2 Avengers: Doomsday Scenes

Disney+ is offering a sneak peek at Avengers: Doomsday with two scenes from the movie, even though it doesn’t come out until 2026. The film is expected to be a major event, capping off a big year for blockbuster movies and potentially bringing Marvel back to the forefront of the entertainment industry. Four trailers were shown with Avatar: Fire & Ash, each focusing on a different part of the Marvel Universe, and now two additional scenes are available to stream on Disney+.

You can now watch The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts on Disney+. Both films include sneak peeks from the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday – scenes filmed by directors Joe and Anthony Russo to connect the stories.

The mid-credits scene of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ jumps ahead four years. We see Sue Storm, played by Vanessa Kirby, reading to her son, Franklin Richards. Franklin, who was a baby in the movie, is now four and is showing signs of being exceptionally intelligent.

HERBE, the Fantastic Four’s robot helper, suggests Franklin read Charles Darwin’s The Origin of Species, but Sue reminds everyone they already read that book the day before.

She spotted a simpler book on the counter, A Fly Went By, and decided it was a better choice for her and her bright toddler, saying they were going to read something a little more playful today.

But the situation quickly becomes frightening when Sue spots Franklin facing a man who suddenly appears in her living room, causing her to activate her powers.

A young boy is shown raising his hand towards a man, while another figure is seen holding a silver mask. This detail, along with a green cloak, hints that Robert Downey Jr. might return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom. He’s expected to be the primary villain in the upcoming two Avengers films. This scene suggests Doom will first appear in the world of the Fantastic Four (Earth-828) before traveling across different universes and threatening all life.

Before The Fantastic Four arrives on Disney+ in November 2025, Thunderbolts debuted on the platform in late August. The movie included a scene after the credits where the Thunderbolts, now calling themselves the New Avengers, are seen in Avengers Tower 14 months after the film’s events. They’re watching a screen that shows what appears to be an alien ship entering Earth’s atmosphere.

Okay, so as the ship was coming down to Earth, we got this huge, bright blue ‘4’ painted on the side, and then Michael Giacchino’s Fantastic Four theme started playing! It’s not confirmed yet, but it really looks like someone from the Fantastic Four’s world is about to show up and maybe even team up with the Avengers. It’s a pretty exciting tease, honestly!

Scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, Avengers: Doomsday is the next big team-up movie from Marvel Studios, marking the third film in their Phase 6 lineup and the fifth Avengers adventure overall. This epic story brings together a massive cast of 27 stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and classic Marvel stories, as the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four unite to fight Robert Downey Jr., who plays the villain Doctor Doom, and save the entire multiverse.

How Avengers: Doomsday Scenes on Disney+ Will Impact the Movie

Many movies, like Ant-Man (which had a scene after Captain America: Civil War) and Doctor Strange (featured in Thor: Ragnarok), have used post-credit scenes to connect to future films. Now, the big question is how these types of moments will fit into the overall story of Doomsday.

Fans will likely get their first look at the New Avengers and Fantastic Four in Doomsday. The interaction between Doctor Doom and Franklin Richards could be what draws Doom, or the entire Fantastic Four, to the attention of the New Avengers. This initial contact will eventually lead to a meeting between both teams and Sam Wilson’s Avengers, as well as the current X-Men.

I’ve been following the news about the upcoming movie, and it sounds like things are going to get really interesting! From what I’ve seen in leaked photos and heard from Simu Liu, it looks like we’ll finally see the Avengers and X-Men interacting, which is huge! Plus, the promotional stuff hints at six different hero teams joining forces. Honestly, I’m already wondering how they’re going to explain bringing everyone together to fight Doom – it’s going to be a complex story, but I can’t wait to see it unfold.

Even with the trailer scenes and these new clips, several actors confirmed to be in the movie haven’t appeared yet. Fans are particularly curious about Shang-Chi, who hasn’t been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since his own film, and are still waiting to find out what role he’ll play.

Although Sam Wilson appeared briefly after the credits of Thunderbolts, he hasn’t been featured in any promotional material for Doomsday. Loki is confirmed to be involved, likely continuing his role as a Multiverse guardian from the end of Loki Season 2. Fans are hoping the full trailer for Doomsday will reveal what the other Avengers are doing before they join the battle against Doctor Doom.
