Gameloft recently revealed more details about the upcoming Wishblossom Ranch expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Launching on November 19th, the update will add new characters, areas to explore, and ways to play – and it features a huge number of horses!
I was so excited to watch the Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase today! They showed off the story for the new Wishblossom Ranch expansion, and it sounds amazing—though a little chaotic! Apparently, Cruella de Vil has completely taken over the ranch and messed everything up. But that’s not all—something’s happened with a huge flower *under* the ranch, and now wish magic is going wild all over the valley! We’ll be trying to figure out what’s causing all the magical mayhem, plus we need to find all the missing horses and restore the ranch to how it used to be. I can’t wait to get started!
The new expansion isn’t just adding the villain Cruella de Vil! Players will also be able to make friends with classic Disney characters like Tigger, Snow White, and Tinkerbell. You’ll meet them while discovering the expansion’s brand new areas: the snowy Wishing Alps, the stylish Glamour Gulch inspired by Cruella, and the giant-sized Pixie Acres. As always, each area is filled with new creatures to find and care for, including geese, skunks, and cute little bees.
Gameloft has announced that horses will be a major feature in the upcoming Wishblossom Ranch expansion. You’ll be able to ride and work with horses inspired by Disney movies like Tangled, Mulan, and Hercules, and you can even customize their appearance with different accessories to create a truly unique horse.
Okay, so horses aren’t just about making them look cool and going for a chill ride. They actually change how I play! I can now gallop right through those annoying Night Thorns, Splinters of Fate, and Inkies – even the new Dead Wish Blossoms – and clear them out. Plus, my horse is super useful around the farm. It can stomp to dig up stuff, I can even attach a watering can to help with my crops, and it’ll kick mining nodes, making gem collecting way easier. It’s a game changer!
It’s not just about getting extra help around the valley! Unlike past updates that came out in pieces over time, everything for Wishblossom Ranch will be available immediately. All four new villagers and the complete story will be ready to play on day one, giving players the freedom to rebuild the ranch at their own speed.
Players who already enjoy the game will receive 5,000 moonstones (the game’s premium currency) with the standard Wishblossom Ranch expansion. The Deluxe Edition includes 10,000 moonstones, plus exclusive cosmetic items like the Arendellian Riding Outfit and Snowy Alpine House Style, and a rideable Sven mount inspired by the movie Frozen!
New players can now buy Disney Dreamlight Valley in two versions: the Wishblossom Ranch Edition, which includes the main game and the latest expansion, or the Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition has everything – the main game, the Wishblossom Ranch expansion with extra perks, and all previously released expansions.
If you buy any edition of Wishblossom Ranch between November 19th and December 3rd, you’ll also get the Springtime Festival Outfit and Festival Tack for your horse, completely free!
The new Wishblossom Ranch expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available starting November 19th on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Plus, Cinderella is joining the game!
