During today’s Disney Dreamlight Valley presentation, Gameloft announced that the last free update for 2025, featuring a beloved princess, will arrive on December 10th. They also gave players a first look at their plans for 2026 with a new development roadmap.
Disney Dreamlight Valley players have been eagerly awaiting the chance to meet one of Disney’s most beloved princesses, and now they finally can! The game’s last free update of 2025, called the Winter Ball, introduces a new story where players team up with the Fairy Godmother to welcome Cinderella to the valley.
This update isn’t just about spending time with Cinderella – it also introduces Dreamteams, a new way to play with friends! Dreamteams let you create a group of up to seven people where you can share resources, work together on challenges, and share photos and updates. Each Dreamteam can customize its name, motto, and icon, helping players find a group that fits their style.
Gameloft has given players a sneak peek at Disney Dreamlight Valley’s plans for 2026, mentioning content inspired by beloved Disney stories. We can expect to see characters and themes from ‘Lady and the Tramp’ arrive in early 2026, followed by a ‘Pocahontas’-inspired update in the spring. Later in the summer, a new “mythological adventure” will expand on the world of Hercules, building on the content from the Storybook Vale expansion.
I was so excited to hear more about the Wishblossom Ranch expansion from Gameloft! They revealed it’s coming on November 19th and showed off a ton of cool new stuff – like brand new areas to explore, fresh characters to meet, and you can even ride horses! It looks amazing and I can’t wait to play.
Disney Dreamlight Valley players will get the Winter Ball update for free on December 10th.
