A new Spider-Man series that’s sparked a lot of debate is now available on Disney+. This adds to the growing collection of Spider-Man films on the streaming service.
What Spider-Man spin-off is on Disney+ now?
The movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage, released in 2021, is now available on Disney+. It’s a sequel to the 2018 film Venom and features Tom Hardy as Venom battling Carnage, a dangerous symbiote that has taken control of Cletus Kasady.
When the movie first came out, opinions were sharply divided, largely due to how the character Carnage was depicted. Woody Harrelson played the role, and while reviews were mixed, the film was a commercial success, earning over $500 million and becoming the seventh-highest-grossing movie of 2021. It was directed by Andy Serkis and written by Kelly Marcel.
I really enjoyed seeing Michelle Williams return as Anne Weying in Venom: Let There Be Carnage! And Woody Harrelson was fantastic as the truly terrifying Cletus Kasady, who becomes Carnage. Naomie Harris also did a great job as Shriek, and the movie had a lot of other talented actors like Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Peggy Lu making it even better.
The movie follows Eddie Brock as he tries to get used to living with Venom, an alien that gives him superpowers and turns him into a dangerous crime fighter. He hopes to revive his journalism career by interviewing Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who bonds with another symbiote, Carnage, and breaks out of prison during a botched execution attempt.
Both Let There Be Carnage and the first Venom movie are now streaming on Disney+. However, the latest film in the series, Venom: The Last Dance, isn’t currently available, and there’s no news yet about when it might be added.
