Dino Crisis Gets Long-Awaited PC Port

As a devoted Dino Crisis fan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for a remake or remaster for quite some time now, but it seems Capcom isn’t planning to breathe new life into the original game anytime soon. However, there’s a silver lining in this dinosaur-sized wait: Both Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 have found their way onto PC platforms via GOG, as part of GOG’s Preservation Program. This means I can still enjoy these classic titles on my modern setup!

The updated versions of these games now run on Windows 10/11, boasting numerous enhancements over the original content. They provide additional rendering choices such as Windowed Mode, Gamma Correction, Anti-Aliasing, and more. Players will also appreciate the upgraded DirectX game renderer, all localization options, and full compatibility with contemporary controllers, including features like improved controller support.

Initially, Dino Crisis made its debut on the original PlayStation console way back in 1999. Its sequel, Dino Crisis 2, followed closely in 2000. The most recent main entry, Dino Crisis 3, was exclusively available for Xbox systems in 2003.
