I’m really excited about the Digimon Story: Time Stranger DLC! They haven’t given us all the details just yet, but the Season Pass will be rolling out over time, and they’ve said it’ll definitely be available by September 30, 2026. It’s good to know there’s a release window, even if it’s a bit far off!

How to claim Digimon Story: Time Stranger DLC in-game
The costumes will automatically show up while you play. However, to get the extra content from the season pass, Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, and pre-order bonuses, you’ll need to claim them manually. You can do this by opening the Digivice menu (press triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox) and selecting the Item menu. Then, go to the “Item Packs” tab on the far right. You’ll see a list of your bonus content there, and you’ll need to claim each pack one by one, as shown in the images below:






How to change costumes in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
If you own any costume DLC through the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions, or if you purchase any of the individual DLC packs, you’ll be able to access and change costumes. You can do this by opening the Digivice – press Triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox. Then, go to the Agent tab. The option to view and change costumes is the fourth one you’ll see. I’ve added screenshots below to show you how:





How to change BGM in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
If you own any music DLC from the Cyber Sleuth BGM pack, or if you buy the Anime Song Pack, you can switch the background music during gameplay. Simply press the Options/Start button and select the “Music Settings” option at the bottom of the menu (it’s just above “Return to Title”). This will allow you to customize the music for different situations, including Field, Normal Battle, Boss Battle, Digivice, Digifarm, and Card Battle, using any music you’ve purchased.

Digimon Story Time Stranger – Outer Dungeons The Halls of EXP, Gold, Materials DLC pack
This DLC is available from day one. It includes the following special outer dungeons:
- The Hall of EXP: Obtain experience items by defeating Digimon in this Outer Dungeon
- The Hall of Gold: Obtain in-game currency by defeating Digimon in this Outer Dungeon
- The Hall of Materials: Obtain materials for Farm Items by defeating Digimon in this Outer Dungeon
This functions similarly to the extra downloadable content found in Shin Megami Tensei V or Nocturne HD Remaster. You can reach the Outer Dungeons by going to The In-Between Theater.
