Dan Saltman, an associate and co-host of well-known streamer Destiny, stated that Destiny had been less than ideal as a husband during his marriage, and it’s likely that Destiny himself would concur with this assessment.
In the month of December, 2021, popular gamer Destiny (whose real name is Steven Bonnell) tied the knot with Swedish streamer Melina Goransson. Regrettably, their marriage didn’t last long; they parted ways and finalized their divorce in December of 2023.
On his Kick channel during a live broadcast on January 24th, Dan Saltman, a friend and colleague of Destiny, discussed the marriage.
Dan Saltman says Destiny was a “sh*tty husband”
Saltman added, ‘In my opinion, Steve wasn’t a very good husband to Melina.’ I believe even Steve himself might acknowledge this. It’s unfortunate, indeed.
On multiple occasions, I conversed with Melina who appeared distraught and sorrowful. Steve would often respond with a callous remark, “What should I say? I’m self-centered, that’s why I’m in this relationship, the way I act.” This comment left Melina deeply wounded.
Saltman then spoke about the conversations that he would have with Melina during the marriage.
Destiny was a shitty husband and called himself a selfish motherfucker according to Dan

Saltman stated, “She asked me what she should do, whether to depart or not. And let me clarify, I never suggested that she should remain and try to make things work. Instead, I repeatedly advised her, ‘If you believe this relationship is abusive, leave it right away.’
viewers of the broadcast started questioning Dan on why he persists in collaborating with Destiny despite his apparent feelings towards him, to which Dan responded by stating that he believes Destiny has undergone a transformation.
He won’t be departing due to the situation because he considers him a friend and feels that he has transformed for the better. However, he acknowledges his actions were wrong, ones he would never commit himself. Yet, he doesn’t view it as an act equivalent to taking a life. This is what he conveyed.
At the moment, Destiny finds himself embroiled in another scandal, this time facing allegations that he unlawfully disseminated private photos of females.
