Here’s everything we know about the Destiny sequel’s Star Wars crossover.
Destiny 2 x Star Wars release date
On January 28, Bungie took fans by surprise with the announcement of a fresh collaboration, this time with Star Wars. The following Destiny 2 crossover is set to drop on the same day as Episode Heresy’s release – Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Players can start enjoying the cross-over content available on Eververse as soon as the Heresy launch commences.
Star Wars collaboration in-game items
On their official Twitter account for Destiny, Bungie announced that the upcoming crossover content will feature new items inspired by Star Wars, such as accessories, armor designs with matching ornaments, fun emotes, and dynamic finishers.
During the Heresy Act 1 Developer Live Stream, additional information was disclosed. The team showcased a sneak peek at some items such as the armor sets reminiscent of Star Wars and the Ghost Shell.

1. The “Covert Ranger Gear for Hunters” drew inspiration from Death Troopers.
2. In the future, “Warlocks will get the Royal Protector Set”, which takes heavy cues from the appearance of Imperial Royal Guards.
3. Lastly, Storm Troopers were the source of inspiration behind the “Shock Enforcer Gear for Titans”.
As a gamer, I’d excitedly put on my new DS-2 Ghost Shell, modeled after the legendary Death Star superweapon from Return of the Jedi. This iconic design is now part of my gaming arsenal!
Twitter/X account Daily Star Wars Games shared screenshots of all four items:
