Fans are curious about Muzan Kibutsuji’s location inside the Infinity Castle, similar to how the Demon Corps searched within it in *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle*. After several key characters died, the movie offers clues about where Muzan is hiding. With much of the night still ahead, the film prepares viewers for the concluding two parts of the story.
Here’s what the movie hinted about Muzan’s location.
Where is Muzan hiding in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1?
The final episode of Demon Slayer Season 4, “The Hashira Unite,” saw Muzan caught in a trap set by Ubuyashiki. Following the mansion’s destruction, Tamayo weakened Muzan with her Blood Demon Art and injected him with the drug designed to kill demons, even going so far as to push the syringe into his chest.
Nakime, one of the strongest demons, used her powers to bring Muzan, Tamayo, and nearly all the Demon Slayers into her realm, the Infinity Castle. Because she controls the castle with her unique abilities, she moved Muzan – with Tamayo still attached – to a hidden location, making it difficult for the Hashira to find him. Even with Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s children using special crows and Yushiro’s abilities to watch over the castle, locating Muzan has proven extremely challenging.
As the final scenes of the Infinity Castle arc in Demon Slayer played out, clues began to reveal where Muzan was hiding. He was deep within the castle, using his Blood Demon Art to create a cocoon. This allowed him time to recover his powers and become even stronger. He was slowly absorbing the medicine into his system and, surprisingly, even adjusting to its effects.
The film concludes with Nakime constantly reshaping the Castle, building it up in layers and making it nearly impossible to determine where he is.
As a huge Demon Slayer fan, I’m so excited for the new movie! It looks like we’re finally going to see Kanao battle Doma, the really powerful demon who… well, who did something terrible to Shinobu. The trailer also showed the remaining Hashira desperately searching for Muzan inside the castle. It’s a bit nerve-wracking knowing Nakime and Kokushibo are still out there, and I’m really on the edge of my seat wondering which of our favorite Hashira will have to face them!
