Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle set to be monster hit at US box office

As a hardcore anime fan, I’m super hyped that Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is finally hitting US theaters! Word on the street is that this movie’s gonna shatter box office records – can’t wait to witness the epic battles and heart-pounding action unfold on the big screen! 🔥🎬

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle”: This highly anticipated film marks the start of a thrilling three-part cinematic experience, wrapping up the epic saga of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

In the storyline, Tanjiro Kamado becomes a member of the Demon Slayer Corps following the tragic loss of his family at the hands of a demon. However, his quest to eradicate these supernatural beings is made more challenging due to the fact that his sister was transformed into a demon during the same horrific event.

In this upcoming series, Zach Aguilar once again takes on the character of Tanjiro, while Channing Tatum steps into the role of a fresh addition, Keizo, in the American voice cast. It seems like this anime could become quite a sensation in the United States.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle set to beat Pokemon’s box office record

It appears that Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is projected to earn an impressive sum at the American box office during the coming weekend. Sony, the film’s distributor, has made a conservative prediction, estimating that it could bring in around $35 million from its showings on approximately 3,300 screens.

Instead, as per Deadline’s report, industry experts speculate that the figure might be significantly larger, potentially ranging from approximately $45 million to $60 million.

The overall revenue will increase due to costlier Imax and Premium Large Format showings. Additionally, Infinity Castle will be shown in 2,800 cinemas starting at 4pm today (Thursday, the 11th).

As a hardcore gamer here, I’ve got to say that even if the Demon Slayer movie doesn’t quite hit the upper limit of its projected earnings, it’ll still obliterate the record for the biggest anime debut ever in the US. That record was set way back in 1999 by Pokemon: The First Movie with a whopping $31 million opening!

Globally, the movie has been raking in impressive earnings, reaching a grand sum of $273 million at the box office, securing its spot as the 14th highest-grossing film of 2025 to date.

As a die-hard anime fan, I’m super stoked to announce that the long-awaited movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, is finally hitting US and UK cinemas on September 12, 2025! For those who can’t wait to catch up or rewatch the action, you can stream the original series on Crunchyroll. Can’t wait!
