The critically-acclaimed Indian television show “Delhi Crime,” which won an International Emmy Award, is preparing to launch its third season and has added talented actress Huma Qureshi to its already impressive lineup of performers.
2020’s International Emmy winner for Best Drama Series is now undergoing post-production.
Following her triumph at the Filmfare Awards for her performance in “Maharani 3” on SonyLIV, Qureshi takes on a challenging role as the series’ strongest adversary. She engages in a fierce confrontation with Shefali Shah’s cherished character DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, who is also known within her team as “Madam Sir.
Qureshi expressed his joy and gratitude when the creators asked him to portray the villain in the upcoming third season of this globally recognized series. He looks forward to keeping viewers engaged with the new episode.”

Beginning with her appearance in Anurag Kashyap’s acclaimed film “Gangs of Wasseypur,” which was showcased at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Qureshi has established a noteworthy career filled with diverse roles. Some of her recent projects include the Netflix neo-noir crime thriller “Monica O, My Darling,” the biographical drama “Tarla” about Tarla Dalal, and the comedy-drama “Double XL” focusing on body positivity. In the streaming world, she has garnered praise for her performance in the political drama “Maharani,” receiving numerous Filmfare awards throughout its seasons.
