As a dedicated fan of Dead by Daylight, this news has filled me with unbridled excitement! The extension of the 2v8 game mode until November 28th means that I get to spend even more time immersed in the terrifying world of the game, honing my skills as both a Killer and a Survivor. It’s been a thrill to see three new killers – The Deathslinger, The Spirit, and The Blight – added to the roster, and I can hardly wait to see what the next iteration brings with The Legion and other killers!
The developers have decided to prolong the 2v8 game mode in Dead by Daylight until November 28th at 10 AM Eastern Time, meaning players get an extra two days to participate in this event, as it was initially scheduled to conclude on the 26th.

The two versions of this feature have been extremely well-received, particularly by Killers. This popularity has led to the game mode being expanded, but it’s also brought about problems such as excessive wait times in queues.
As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed an issue with long queue times in the online game I adore, and I was told by the developers themselves: “Given the essence of online games like ours, the reintroduction of 2v8 mode might not immediately address this problem.” They further explained, “We’re fully cognizant of this challenge, and we’re actively working on enhancing the Survivor experience to make it more gratifying.
Following the conclusion of the current 2v8 game mode on the 28th, players can anticipate testing out upcoming variants of this game mode featuring fresh killers and maps. The ongoing version has introduced three new killers: The Deathslinger, The Spirit, and The Blight. In the next phase, The Legion and additional killers are expected to be included, along with enhancements to the Survivor experience aimed at decreasing Killer queue times.
