Okay, so we’ve got some news on the new Batman movie coming from DCU – the one titled The Brave and the Bold. The screenwriter attached is…let’s just say a bit of a controversial pick, with some fans already having strong opinions. This won’t be connected to the darker, more recent Batman starring Robert Pattinson; this is a totally separate take. And good news for fans of The Flash – Andy Muschietti, who directed that film, is expected to be a key player in bringing this new Batman story to life.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christina Hodson is writing the script for the upcoming film, The Brave and the Bold. She previously worked with DC on the screenplays for 2020’s Bird of Prey and 2023’s The Flash. While both movies were critically praised, they didn’t perform well at the box office and were released under the previous DC Extended Universe banner.
