Alcock first appeared in the DC Universe in James Gunn’s latest action-packed hit, stepping into the role as Superman’s Kryptonian cousin. In the transition from one movie to another, a change can be noticed in Superman’s (Kara’s alter ego) belt design. Unlike the simple golden belt she wore in “Superman,” her latest ensemble for “Supergirl” sports a more intricate and varied appearance.

The freshly designed belt strongly resembles the distinctive style found in her famous comic book series, “Woman of Tomorrow.” It boasts a prominent centerpiece reminiscent of a belt buckle, which gracefully descends from the front of her skirt instead of aligning with her waistline. Altered Skirt Design

In the first movie, Supergirl wore a skirt with an almost suede-like appearance and a belt that ran through it. However, in the more recent films, her skirt appears to be made from the same textured fabric as her top, without the belt going through it.

Furthermore, the new skirt no longer features any accent details on its surface. Previously, during her appearance in Superman, the skirt boasted additional stitching around the waistline and near the pleats at the bottom.
