DC Just Delayed ‘My Adventures with Superman’ Season 3

As a huge fan of My Adventures with Superman, I was really bummed to hear that season three is delayed. It’s a fantastic show, and I was so excited to see what happened next with Jack Quaid as Clark Kent. It’s especially disappointing because the series is supposed to connect with James Gunn’s new DC Universe, so I was hoping for a quicker continuation. It’s a setback, but I’m still holding out hope we’ll get more adventures soon!

HBO Max won’t be releasing Season 3 of My Adventures with Superman in December 2025, dashing hopes for a premiere this year. Fans had been anticipating a 2025 release after the show’s creator, Jake Wyatt, mentioned in August that the season was already in post-production, which initially boosted excitement for the continuation of the series.

Many thought Season 3 was nearing completion, leading to speculation it might be released later in the year as a surprise for DC fans. This was partly because the show had consistently released new seasons every year since it first premiered in 2023.

During San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Quaid told TopMob he had finished recording the first episode of My Adventures with Superman Season 3 and shared how thrilled he was about it.

The lead actor first hinted that the movie might come out in 2025, but that’s no longer a possibility.

The third season of My Adventures with Superman will likely focus on Clark Kent as he struggles to juggle his increasing responsibilities as a hero with his job at the Daily Planet and his relationship with Lois Lane (Alice Lee).

I’m so excited for the new episodes! We’re finally going to see Lex Luthor completely bald, played by Max Mittelman, and it looks like Hank Henshaw is finally becoming Cyborg Superman – something they’ve been hinting at for ages. Plus, Superboy is joining the show for the first time, which I can’t wait to see!

The new season will follow Kara Zor-El (Kiana Madeira) as she continues to adapt to life on Earth after escaping Brainiac’s (Michael Emerson) influence. It will also likely begin to set up the upcoming My Adventures with Green Lantern spin-off, suggesting plans for a larger interconnected animated world.
