Dark dungeon crawler RPG Annihilated launches for PC via Steam in Early Summer 2026

Flashlight Games and Death Kumiai have launched a Steam page for their upcoming RPG, Annihilated. This dark dungeon crawler is currently planned for release in early summer 2026.

This game is a dark and challenging dungeon crawler where you’ll meet four deeply flawed characters. You can only save one, forcing you to leave the others behind. Combat is tough and requires carefully timed card choices to succeed.

The game’s Steam page includes information about its use of AI. However, the developers state they only use AI to help with programming and coding, not to create any of the game’s art or other assets.

I’m so excited! I just heard that Annihilated, the RPG I’ve been following, is finally coming to PC (on Steam!) in Early Summer 2026. It looks really dark and story-driven, and I can’t wait to play it!

You can try out a demo of the game during Steam Next Fest, which runs from February 23rd to March 2nd. The demo will be available a few days earlier, starting on February 20th.

The Hero’s party has been annihilated.

The Warrior: Lost their body. Now a soul trapped in a lovely doll.

The Mage: Lost their magic. A massive spike pierces their heart.

You can only rescue one of these injured people. A dangerous escape from the dungeon starts now.

This RPG focuses on a compelling story and features four unique characters, each with their own struggles. You’ll choose one ‘broken’ character to help, while the others must face their challenges alone.

This art style combines adorable imagery with unsettling horror elements. The contrast between cute graphics and dark themes creates a uniquely disturbing effect – the more adorable the art, the more intense the horror.

These card battles rely on precise timing. You’ll need to carefully manage your resources and press a button at just the right moment to succeed.
