As a devoted fan, I can’t contain my excitement! It’s been nearly two years since the initial demo of Dark and Darker graced our screens, mere months before the mobile adaptation was even announced. Now, the North American soft launch for Dark and Darker Mobile is just around the corner, and the global release is imminent, slated for the first half of this very year. I can hardly wait to dive back into the dark and captivating world that has held me spellbound!
On February 4, PUBG Mobile’s publisher, Krafton, along with Bluehole Studio, have announced that the mobile versions of Dark and Darker will be accessible for players in America and Canada. Initially, a soft launch was planned exclusively for Canadian players; however, due to popular demand, early access has been broadened to include American players as well.
In a statement, Bluehole Studio’s Joonseok Ahn expressed excitement about extending the soft launch of Dark and Darker Mobile beyond Canada, aiming to reach more gamers across North America. The community’s passionate response fueled their ambition, prompting them to speed up their plans. As they gear up for the worldwide release, they eagerly anticipate receiving additional feedback.
Similar to the original Dark and Darker, the mobile adaptation plunges players into a fantasy-infused labyrinth adventure. Here, they confront fearsome beasts and mysterious creatures while scouring for valuable items and hidden riches. The twist is that competitors engage within these labyrinths, with the winner seizing the rewards. This game offers a thrilling balance between potential gains and potential losses, as one could end up empty-handed upon exiting a dungeon.
Excitedly speaking as a fan, while Krafton and Bluehole Studio haven’t announced a global launch date for Dark and Darker Mobile yet, pre-registration is underway on its official site! Can’t wait to dive in! What’s more, the mobile version promises unique features that set it apart from its PC counterpart. For instance, players can recruit AI companions to join them in either PvE or PvP dungeons. Additionally, characters can be boosted with multiple buffs to enhance their chances of survival in the game. Can’t wait to explore these new elements when the game finally lands on my mobile device!
