Good news for fans hoping for more Daredevil! Marvel has confirmed plans for Season 3 of *Born Again*, which is a welcome development after the confusion surrounding the previous season being labeled as the last. It was a smart decision to continue the series.
Charlie Cox caused some worry when he called the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again the “final season.” This was because the first part of the series was a strong and exciting return to the character and the world of Daredevil.
As we mentioned in our four-star review, this series felt like the most thrilling addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, which is why news of its early ending was disappointing.
After some initial confusion, both Vincent D’Onofrio and Liev Schreiber have confirmed that *Kingpin* will continue beyond Season 2. Schreiber clarified a previous statement, and D’Onofrio reassured fans that a third season is planned.

Okay, so good news for Daredevil fans! I just heard from the folks at Marvel that Season 3 is officially happening. They’re planning to start filming next year, and it sounds like they’ll kick things off after Season 2 drops on Disney Plus – that’s currently set for March 2026. I’m super excited!
This announcement follows reports from Nexus Point News indicating the show is confirmed for at least three seasons. Fans are already sharing their enthusiasm and predictions for the future of the series.
Fans are eager to see Matt Murdock (Daredevil) in a movie again, but they’ll happily take more seasons of the show in the meantime. One fan wrote, “Hopefully we’ll get Matt in action on the big screen one day, but until then, more seasons are always welcomed,” while another simply said, “More Matt Murdock on my screen!”
Someone else shared their ideal storyline: they’d love to see Spider-Man and Daredevil team up to finally defeat Kingpin during the ‘Brand New Day’ era. Then, in a third season of ‘Born Again,’ they envision Kingpin, while in prison, revealing Matt Murdock’s secret identity to the media. This would force Matt to deny being Daredevil, with a humorous subplot of Danny Rand briefly wearing the Daredevil costume.
Someone else added that the creators seem really sure of themselves about Season 2. They’re hoping it will be a noticeable improvement over Season 1, now that they didn’t have to completely rebuild the creative direction and can deliver something more polished and unified.
