The first trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Daredevil: Born Again was shown to fans at New York Comic-Con 2025, and it revealed some exciting new details. The season, which will premiere on Disney+ in March 2026, follows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he continues to defend Hell’s Kitchen. This time, however, he faces a new challenge: Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is now the mayor of New York City and is heading up a task force against vigilantes.
Fans of the Daredevil series have a lot to look forward to! Following the show’s return, Jessica Jones will be joining Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Krysten Ritter will once again play the tough private investigator after her Netflix series ended in 2019. She’ll team up with Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox) to fight against Wilson Fisk’s control of New York City. Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum has confirmed Jessica will be “part of this resistance” and highlighted her original series as some of “the best television Marvel’s ever done.”
Surprisingly, Ritter unexpectedly released the trailer online, giving fans an early look at the upcoming season next spring. The leak revealed several major plot points, spoiling both the official trailer and important details about Season 2.
3 Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer Spoilers
Karen & Matt Will Get Together

The trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 shows that Matt and Karen are reconnecting, which many viewers have been hoping for since the first season ended. In Season 1, Matt was involved with Dr. Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva), who also treated Wilson and Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer).
Dario Scardapane, the showrunner, has revealed that Matt and Heather are no longer together after the first season ended. Heather, who now works as a kind of mental health advisor for Fisk, will be back in Season 2, involved with the New York City government.
I was completely captivated by the footage from NYCC 2025! It was so sweet seeing Karen carefully place a vinyl record on the turntable while Matt was lying in bed, smiling. Then they started slow dancing, and there was this incredible moment where they almost kissed – it felt so intimate! They even playfully sparred, which was adorable. But the joy didn’t last. During their dance, Matt suddenly collapsed after a loud explosion, and Karen was right there, holding him as he struggled to breathe. It was a really powerful and worrying scene.
As a film buff, I was really struck by this scene – it perfectly showed both how much these characters care for each other and the sadness underlying their connection. It definitely made me think Season 2 is going to be full of twists and turns and a really complicated relationship dynamic.
Foggy Will Return Through Flashbacks

A quick glimpse in the trailer for Daredevil: Born Again showed Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson in a scene that seems to be a flashback, with his original Season 1 haircut. This sparked a lot of excitement among fans at New York Comic Con, even though Henson’s return for Season 2 has been known for a while.
Even though Foggy Nelson died in the first season – killed by Bullseye on Vanessa’s orders – the show is using flashbacks to bring him back. This hints that it will explore his history with Matt Murdock, a key part of the original Netflix series, and potentially reveal more about their shared past.
Henson’s reappearance might not be just a memory. The trailer could be intentionally misleading, leading viewers to believe he’ll only appear in flashbacks. However, the new season might actually show that he’s still alive and has been secretly protected by a witness protection program.
Jessica Jones Will Help Daredevil Against the Anti-Vigilante Task Force

The new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again features the return of Jessica Jones to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the reveal caused a huge reaction from the audience at New York Comic Con.
The video clip features Jessica visiting an injured Matt in a church. She playfully tells him to get well soon, then helps him stand up. We also see Jessica taking action, forcefully closing a door on a Task Force officer and fighting alongside Daredevil. These scenes suggest she and Daredevil will team up again, and that Jessica could be a key ally in the resistance Matt is building.
It was amazing to hear Ritter talk about getting back into her role! She said it felt like absolutely no time had passed when she worked with Cox again – they had such great chemistry in The Defenders back in 2017, and it was clear that connection was still there.
