Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, the continuation of the popular Disney+ series. They’ve also confirmed the premiere date: March 24, 2026.
Season 2 focuses on Mayor Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, tightening his grip on New York City while relentlessly pursuing Daredevil, the vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock, hidden beneath the Daredevil mask, will struggle to dismantle Fisk’s criminal empire and restore order to his city, fighting from the shadows with a message of resistance, rebellion, and rebuilding.

The new trailer hints at what’s coming up for Jessica Jones after Wilson Fisk imposes martial law, kicking off a fight for the future of New York City. It also gives fans their first look at Krysten Ritter joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jessica Jones. The trailer features exciting action scenes, including Jessica Jones in a fight and a tough boxing match against Kingpin. Fans also briefly see Foggy Nelson, despite his character’s death in Season 1.
The upcoming series, Daredevil: Born Again, is led by showrunner Dario Scardapane, with Kevin Feige and several others serving as executive producers. The cast features Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil (Matt Murdock), alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin (Wilson Fisk). Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Punisher (Frank Castle), and the series will also star Ayelet Zurer, Deborah Ann Woll, Margarita Levieva, Genneya Walton, Nikki M. James, Clark Johnson, and Michael Gandolfini.
Season 2 will feature Lili Taylor, known for her role in The Conjuring, as the Governor of New York, and Matthew Lillard, from Five Nights at Freddy’s, as a character named Mr. Charles. According to producer Brad Winderbaum, Mr. Charles will be a new and powerful adversary for Wilson Fisk, matching him in influence and strength. Before the second season even begins, the show has been renewed for a third season.
