Dantes finally accepted as Twitch partner after being rejected 25 times in 6 years

After six years and 25 attempts, Twitch streamer Dantes has finally been accepted into the platform’s Partner Program. His journey to partnership was one of the longest and most persistent the site has ever witnessed.

Dantes, who used to go by Doaenel, has been trying to get verified on social media for more than five years. He’s gained a large following, but his verification requests have consistently been denied.

In 2022, his career faced a setback when Twitch permanently banned him due to his username being considered inappropriate.

Back then, he was known as Doaenel, a name he’d been using since 2019. After his fourteenth attempt to join the platform was rejected – while he was still banned – he changed his name to DoBleedPurple in an effort to get reinstated.

He eventually chose the name Dantes and quickly gained a large following, exceeding 500,000. Despite his growing popularity, people continued to question his identity. By 2023, he had faced rejection 23 times.

Twitch finally lets Dantes into Partner program after 6 years

Everything shifted on November 26, 2025. With over 1.1 million followers, Dante finally got the email he’d been hoping for.

The streamer from Quebec was completely shocked when they learned they’d been accepted into the Twitch Partner Program. After six years of trying and being rejected 25 times, their 26th application was finally successful.

I’ve been struggling to find the right words for this tweet. I’m still in shock! After six years of trying and getting rejected 25 times, I finally got accepted into the Twitch Partner Program on my 26th try. Thank you, @Twitch.

He admitted the application process was so frustrating, he even resorted to humor. He jokingly mentioned once stating he was attracted to Yordles on an application, hoping it would improve his odds – but it didn’t work.

With the purple check now secured, Dantes reflected on what’s next.

He recently got married and is in a committed relationship, and now he’s setting his sights on reaching the highest rank in League of Legends, known as Challenger.

Considering his history, some fans playfully predicted it would take 26 seasons for him to succeed, but Dantes has already shown he doesn’t give up easily.
