Video game enthusiast DanTDM, known for his popular YouTube channel, is starting a unique radio program on Classic FM where they exclusively play tunes from various video games.
DanTDM, known in real life as Daniel Middleton, has seen a massive rise in fame due to his entertaining Minecraft videos and related gaming content on YouTube, boasting over 29 million subscribers.
In the past, this YouTube content creator has frequently expressed his affection for music from video games. Interestingly, he pursued a formal education in music production at university, all while nurturing and expanding his channel.
Currently, DanTDM is merging his passion for content creation and video game tunes by launching a fresh radio program titled “Next Level with DanTDM.
DanTDM reveals Next Level by DanTDM
Starting from January 11, 2025, at 9 PM, the YouTube personality will be hosting a one-hour radio program every day on Classic FM.
The service seems to be short-term, as indicated by the announcement that it ends with the Easter holiday on April 20, 2025.
Throughout the course of this series, Dan plans to highlight tunes from a few iconic video games such as The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII, Skyrim, and one personal favorite: Minecraft.

Speaking to Classic FM, Dan expressed his gratitude for being given the chance to host his very own radio program.
I can hardly imagine my teenage self believing I now host a radio show! With my background in music production from university and over a decade of work in video games, it’s almost unreal to have a platform that combines these passions,” he expressed.
I’m truly thrilled and appreciative for the chance to be part of the legendary Classic FM radio station.
As a fellow gamer, I’m not surprised that DanTDM is branching out into new content creation paths. Just like Valkyrae did back in September when she announced her media company dedicated to creating anime, I too am planning several projects in the pipeline.
