D4vd named as a suspect in death of 15-year-old girl found in his Tesla, investigators say

Singer D4vd is now a person of interest in the investigation into the death of a 15-year-old girl. Her body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to him.

Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has faced investigation since September after the remains of Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found in the front trunk of his Tesla, which had been towed and was being held at a Hollywood impound lot.

Police responded to reports of a bad smell coming from a car that had been left on a Los Angeles street and later towed.

D4vd named suspect in Celeste Hernandez case

ABC News reports that police are now looking into D4vd as a person of interest in the case, but so far, no one has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.

The official cause and manner of death for Hernandez are still pending from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. Evidence suggests his body was cut apart, and it appears multiple people were involved in getting rid of the remains. Detectives are currently talking to several people who might have information about what happened.

Investigators anticipate the Medical Examiner will soon complete their report. This will help decide if any charges will be filed and whether someone will be arrested.

Police had previously searched the Los Angeles home where singer D4vd was living. According to sources at ABC News, D4vd isn’t cooperating with the investigation. Attempts to get a statement from his representatives and lawyers have been unsuccessful.

D4vd was touring with his ‘Withered’ show when a body was found, causing him to cancel the rest of his North American concerts and his upcoming European tour. He also put a hold on promoting his new album after the discovery.
