The first big paid expansion for Cult of the Lamb, called Woolhaven, is launching on January 22nd for all gaming platforms, according to developer Massive Monster.
After two years of development, the $17 Woolhaven expansion is Cult of the Lamb’s largest update yet. It adds a wealth of new content, including dungeons, buildings, weapons, characters, and quests, completely changing how the game plays. A key addition is a ranching system where players can tame and raise animals – you can ride them, or, if necessary, use them for food!
The Woolhaven expansion continues the story, introducing a brand new region to explore – the ancestral home of the lambs, called Woolhaven. Protecting your flock here will be tougher than ever before, as you’ll face the harsh ice and snow controlled by Yngya, the God of Winter, and a forgotten deity connected to the lambs’ history.
Life in Woolhaven isn’t just about surviving the winter. You’ll also face enemies roaming the frozen mountains and a spreading disease called the Rot that threatens the Lambs’ home.
The new Cult of the Lamb DLC, Woolhaven, will be released on January 22nd for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It will be available for $17.
