Team Vitality officially announced the acquisition of ex-FaZe Clan sniper Robin ‘ropz’ Kool, who will take over the spot left vacant by departing player Spinx on their roster.
Since January 2022, Ropz has been a vital part of the FaZe clan, winning a Major championship with them and also earning an Intel Grand Slam along the way.
2024 posed a greater challenge for FaZe, ultimately resulting in a disappointing defeat in the grand finals against Team Spirit during the Shanghai Major held in December.
Energy, much like them, found it challenging to transform the potent firepower provided by players such as ZywOo and Spinx into a consistent winning streak, yet they managed to secure the IEM Cologne trophy in August.
2025 saw the beginning of a frenzy known as roster mania in CS2, and one of the most significant shifts this off-season was ropz’ transfer to Vitality.
Ropz joins Team Vitality
Although FaZe Clan hasn’t been winning much over the past year, there’s little question about ropz’s individual talent and his potential to excel in CS:2. He has consistently ranked among the top 20 players on HLTV since 2018, reaching as high as third place in 2023.
2024 saw a drop in his position to 18th on the rankings, yet with a fresh team lineup, especially a new In-Game Leader in apEX, it’s intriguing to anticipate how ropz will adjust for the year 2025.

Team Vitality’s President, Fabien ‘Neo’ Devide, stated that securing ropz marks the conclusion of numerous years of dialogue and shared admiration.

Ropz replaces Spinx in the roster, and the Israeli player expresses eagerness about what lies ahead without officially announcing his new team yet.
In the meantime, FaZe Clan brought on board one of North America’s best players, EliGE, who had parted ways with Complexity following a standout individual season in 2024. Now, he has the opportunity to prove his mettle as part of one of the top ten teams.
