Crocs and Nickelodeon have teamed up for a SpongeBob SquarePants collection, and fans are especially excited about a pair of clogs inspired by the character Squidward.
A new SpongeBob SquarePants-themed clog featuring Squidward was unveiled on TikTok on December 5th. The design, notable for its large, sculpted face and unique shape, has already gained a lot of attention, racking up almost 2 million views.
This SpongeBob collection is the latest in Crocs’ series of collaborations with popular characters. It’s launching just before the new SpongeBob movie, Search for SquarePants, comes out on December 19th, making it a perfect way to promote the film.
Crocs announced a new Squidward clog on TikTok with a short video. The clip showed off the shoe’s design, including a sculpted front featuring Squidward’s nose and his signature sleepy-looking eyes.
Crocs will soon release a Squidward Classic Clog, joining SpongeBob and Patrick-themed clogs, all priced at $79.99.

Crocs will release SpongeBob-themed clogs, including a Squidward design, starting December 11th. The collection features three different character designs, all launched before the new SpongeBob movie and sold as part of Crocs’ Character Shoes and Charms line.
Okay, so the Squidward figure is cool because its face isn’t just a sticker or print – it’s actually sculpted. The SpongeBob and Patrick ones just have flat images on the front, but Squidward’s looks way more detailed because it’s 3D.
The unique sculpted figures have quickly become popular online, sparking a wide range of reactions on platforms like TikTok. Collectors are thrilled, while many viewers are amused by the figures’ dramatically expressive faces.
Crocs hasn’t said if they’ll be releasing shoes featuring more SpongeBob characters, but they do have a lot of Jibbitz charms available with the collection.
