She described how he profoundly influenced her creative work and how joyful it was when he joined their artistic community as a teacher. She praised his dedication to honest and courageous art. According to TMZ, Parker’s aunt said he died on March 5th in Memphis, Tennessee, after a battle with cancer.
Parker Stevenson started his acting career with roles in popular shows like Will & Grace, where he played one of Grace’s boyfriends, Josh, and Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, which helped launch his career. He also appeared in Flying Blind, a series about a college graduate and his outgoing girlfriend, played by Téa Leoni, and was part of the Love Boat revival in the late 1990s. More recently, Parker has become an acting coach, working with the cast members of shows like Ms. Marvel and Sun Records.
