Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming expansion for Control, called Resonant, is scheduled for release in 2026 and will take full advantage of the newest Nvidia RTX graphics cards. It will feature stunning visuals thanks to DLSS 4.5 and advanced path-traced rendering technology.

Even now, Control is visually stunning, using advanced ray tracing to make everything look incredibly realistic and immersive.

Control Resonant delivers a stunning visual experience with realistic lighting effects and incredibly detailed geometry. These features are boosted by DLSS Ray Reconstruction and further enhanced by DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, resulting in smoother, more immersive gameplay.

According to Tatu Aalto, Graphics Director at Remedy Entertainment, the detailed world of Control Resonant looks even more impressive with advanced lighting technology. He explains that DLSS 4.5 and Ray Reconstruction deliver a beautiful, stable image while also boosting performance, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the game.

The new Control game takes players to a wider, broken version of Manhattan. The city is overrun by dangerous, otherworldly forces – like the Hiss and the Mold – that have escaped from the mysterious Oldest House.

You play as Dylan Faden, brother of the Director, and face a powerful, reality-altering force. As you develop Dylan’s unique supernatural powers, you’ll explore mind-bending worlds, bend gravity to your will, and fight using telekinesis and a transforming weapon called the Aberrant. It’s a fast-paced action experience where you’ll unlock the full extent of Dylan’s abilities.

Remedy Entertainment is developing and will publish Control Resonant. Annapurna Pictures is partnering with Remedy to help fund and produce the game.
