Compile Heart announced a new RPG aimed at younger players, with a reveal date of January 29th. Along with a short teaser trailer, they shared the names of the main developers, many of whom previously worked on RPGs for Atlus.
The project is led by producer Kouji “Cozy” Okada, a veteran of many Atlus games including the original Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei, Digital Devil Saga, and the first two Persona titles. Tadashi Satomi, who also worked on those earlier Persona games and Digital Devil Saga, is writing the story. Completing the core team are composer Tsukasa Masuko and character designer Ilya Kuvshinov.
This short preview brings to mind FuRyu’s past strategy of hinting at new role-playing games made with people who used to work at Atlus. This approach previously led to the creation of games like Monark and Varlet, both of which involved Tsukasa Masuko. Tadashi Satomi also worked on FuRyu’s earlier titles, The Caligula Effect and Overdose.
Watch the new teaser trailer for the game below! We’ll be showing off everything on the 29th, so be sure to check back then.
