Bandai Namco has revealed new trailers showcasing two characters from the highly anticipated action RPG, Code Vein II: Lyle McLeish and Holly Asturias.
Lyle is famous for his incredible skill with a sword, and Holly is a doctor who is also a Revenant, working at a clinic hidden in the forest. These new trailers come after previously released trailers featuring Lou Magmell, Noah G. MagMell, and Josée Anjou.
Code Vein II will be available on January 30th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). If you haven’t seen them yet, we’ve recently shared new screenshots and information about the game’s characters and combat system.
Lyle McLeish
Bandai Namco recently introduced Lyle McLeish in a new trailer for Code Vein II. Lyle is a skilled swordsman and a key member of The Dawn Chorus, a group working to restore the Corroded Scar. He’s known for his daring and selfless fighting style, which sometimes worries his teammates, and he often prefers to work alone on missions.
Lyle is a skilled attacker who excels at dodging and fighting from both close and long distances. His special ability, “Raikasen,” is a powerful, lightning-based sweeping attack, and he effectively uses magic from mid-range. His “Overdrive” buff boosts his and the player’s attack power as long as neither of them are hit. He also has a unique trait: successfully dodging enemy attacks earns Ichor, allowing for aggressive gameplay and rewarding players who can predict their opponents’ moves.
You can now pre-order Code Vein II on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. The game comes in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions. Find out more about the game and the character Lyle McLeish at www.playcodevein.com.
Holly Asturias
Deep in the forest, a doctor of the Revenant works at a secluded clinic. She uses the healing abilities passed down through her family’s Luxuria Bloodline – a lineage said to be cursed – to study and heal the strange, mutated Revenants affected by a phenomenon called the Resurgence.
