Code Vein II is out now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (through Steam). Like many recent Bandai Namco titles, it comes in several editions, each with different downloadable content. This guide will explain the different editions, their prices, how to upgrade your game, what DLC is included, and more. We’ll also show you how to unlock outfits and costume DLC once updates are available.

Code Vein II is available in the following editions and bundles:
- Code Vein II standard edition – $69.99 – physical and digital
- Code Vein II Deluxe Edition – $89.99 – digital
- Code Vein II Ultimate Edition – $99.99 – physical and digital
- Code Vein II Collector’s Edition – $179.99 – physical

Code Vein II pre-order bonus
The Code Vein II pre-order bonus includes the Stylized Forma Set DLC pack with the following:
- Forma Face Paint: A cosmetic item which applies a forma design to the corner of your eyes.
- Twin Fangs of the Lone Wolf (Weapon): Twin blades engraved with a special forma. Cut through your enemies like a wolf sinking its teeth into its prey with a powerful, lunging slice attack.

The Code Vein II Deluxe Edition includes
- Code Vein II base game
- Custom Outfit Pack
- Expansion DLC: Mask of Idris
The Code Vein II Custom Outfit Pack includes the following:
- Lavish Kimono Set: Contains a gorgeous kimono, a hair ornament, and face paint which evokes traditional Japanese make-up
- Mad Swordsman Set: Contains a cloak fashioned from the carcass of a terrible beast, as well as warrior body paint
- Cyber Ninja Set: Contains a hood with a long scarf, a demon mask, and face paint which evokes a Buddhist sutra
- Ame-no-Habakiri Greatsword (Weapon): A legendary sword from the Far East, its pale blade shines as it unleashes a powerful bleed attack

Code Vein II Ultimate Edition contents
The Code Vein II Ultimate Edition includes the following:
- Code Vein II base game
- Deluxe Edition content
- Ultimate Content: Code Vein Character Costume Set and Digital Mini Artbook and Soundtrack
The Code Vein Character Costume Set for Code Vein II lets you dress your character in six outfits from the original Code Vein, modeled after Io, Louis, Yakumo, Mia, Jack, and Eva. Each outfit includes a full body suit, shoes, gloves, and a unique accessory. These cosmetic items can be used with any character build.

Code Vein II Expansion DLC
The official store pages list the following details for the DLC which is set to launch this year:

Code Vein II Collector’s Edition

How to upgrade from the Code Vein II standard to Deluxe and Ultimate Edition
The prices for the downloadable content aren’t available yet, but you can purchase the Deluxe Upgrade Pack to get the Deluxe Edition. We don’t have a final answer on the Ultimate Edition just yet. We’ll know on launch day if you’ll be able to upgrade to include the Digital Artbook, Soundtrack, and the Code Vein character costume set.
Code Vein II is now available in early access and will officially launch on January 30th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
