A fresh image from a potential Clayface production sparks renewed discussions among Batman enthusiasts, leaving some wondering if Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of the Dark Knight will feature in the DC Universe.
The production of the Clayface movie, a joint venture between DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures, is currently underway. Directed by James Watkins, this film features Tom Rhys Harries as the central Batman antagonist, with Mickey 17’s Naomi Ackie also appearing in key roles.

It’s important to clarify that the presence of Batman in Clayface isn’t definitively confirmed yet. There hasn’t been any official statement about it, and it could just be an Easter egg. Additionally, considering the small size of the sticker, there’s a chance someone might have placed it on a prop without the knowledge of those involved in the movie production.
It appears that some enthusiasts speculate that this could be Robert Pattinson’s Batman symbol, hinting at a potential fusion of the DCU and The Batman Epic Crime Saga narrative.
As a movie enthusiast eagerly anticipating the latest Batman saga, I must admit, the new designs for Gotham’s police vehicles and the map of the city that leaked online have stirred up some intrigue. Some fans, including myself, have speculated that perhaps there might be a change in plans, given how distinct these designs appear compared to what we’ve seen so far in The Batman Epic Crime Saga. However, only time will tell if these assumptions are indeed correct.
It’s noteworthy that, along with James Gunn, Peter Safran, and Lynn Harris, The Batman director Matt Reeves is also involved in the production of Clayface.
The screenplay for Clayface was penned by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini. This R-rated film is a chilling exploration of body horror, centered around an aspiring actor whose face undergoes a grotesque transformation at the hands of a criminal. To maintain his career, he seeks out a scientist who assists him in altering his physical form entirely.
On September 11, 2026, Clayface is set to make its big screen debut in U.S. cinemas. As for the sequel to The Batman, it’s scheduled to hit theaters on October 1, 2027.
