Just how much of Christy Carlson Romano‘s new memoir will focus on her past experiences with Shia LaBeouf? Many suspect it will be a significant part. Romano revealed she’s been working on the book, titled Once Upon a Trainwreck: The Rise and Fall of a Child Star, and shared the news on social media Tuesday. She described the writing process as difficult, saying she had to revisit both the best and worst times of her life and be incredibly open with her story. She calls it a risky, honest, and empowering project. Along with the announcement, she posted photos from her childhood acting days, including a high school graduation picture featuring Scarlett Johansson and Jack Antonoff – a surprising discovery for many fans!
According to an official summary in People magazine, the book details how Romano achieved fame too quickly to be able to handle it, and explores her difficult journey through the ups and downs of celebrity. It will cover her struggles with alcohol and a situation where she was pressured by a deceptive psychic into giving away a large sum of money. Once Upon a Trainwreck will be available on October 6th.
