Peacock is preparing a great selection of movies and TV shows for 2026, including the sci-fi action film The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt. This film, originally released in June 2021 and directed by Chris McKay, will be available on Peacock in January, alongside romantic comedies, thrillers, and other family favorites.
The Tomorrow War to stream on Peacock very soon
Beginning January 1, 2026, you’ll be able to watch The Tomorrow War on Peacock. The movie was originally intended for cinemas in 2021, but plans changed. After Amazon acquired the rights from Paramount during the pandemic, it first became available on Amazon Prime Video. Now, it’s coming to Peacock as part of their January 2026 content.
I recently checked out ‘The Tomorrow War,’ and it’s a really gripping film! It centers around Dan Forester, a regular family guy who gets pulled into a war… but not just any war. He’s recruited by soldiers from the future – 2051, to be exact – to help them fight off a devastating alien invasion. Basically, he’s thrown into the future to fight alongside these soldiers in what feels like a losing battle. It’s a total thrill ride as he tries to figure out how to save both the future and his family. Chris Pratt is fantastic as Dan, and the cast is great overall – Yvonne Strahovski plays his wife, Colonel Forester, and Betty Gilpin is also in it, along with Jasmine Mathews, Sam Richardson, and even J.K. Simmons! It’s a solid action/sci-fi movie that kept me on the edge of my seat.
Starting January 1, 2026, Peacock will offer a diverse selection of movies and TV shows. Viewers can enjoy romantic comedies like 17 Again, All Roads Lead to Rome, Before We Go, Dog Days, Little Italy, and The Proposal. For those who prefer thrills, the lineup also includes suspenseful films such as The American, Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Cold Pursuit, Den of Thieves, The Game, Gamer, The Gift, Spy Game, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
