The next Thor movie is receiving significant updates as Chris Hemsworth prepares to reprise his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe later this year.
During an appearance on the Smartless Podcast, Hemsworth revealed that after Avengers: Doomsday, he and Marvel Studios already have plans for Thor in the MCU. The Australian actor stated that he will continue playing the Marvel icon a “couple more times,” after his return on December 18, adding, “Yeah, it’s wild.”
The actor explained that he discussed the character’s surprising twists with Kevin Feige, who was happy with them because audiences now anticipate unexpected developments. He also shared that they have some exciting and original ideas for what’s next, hoping to do something truly different.
