A fast-food place close to Manchester, England is getting a lot of attention online for its new menu item: a chicken burger covered in chocolate. Yes, you read that right!
Recently, we’ve seen some incredibly extravagant and unusual food items emerge. These range from extremely pricey pizzas topped with delicacies like truffles and caviar – one even cost $70,000! – to chicken wings adorned with edible gold leaf. Some burgers are so exclusive, you need a personal invitation from the chef just to try one.
A restaurant in Oldham, near Manchester, is making waves with a unique menu item. Burger Eats, famous for its chicken burgers, has created the UK’s first chocolate-covered chicken burger – and it’s exactly what it sounds like!
Food reviewer ChowReviews shared on Instagram that a new fried chicken burger has launched, featuring a surprising combination of chocolate sauce and Ferrero Rocher candies on top.

Chocolate-dipped chicken burger has viewers disgusted
ChowReviews found the flavor surprisingly decent, and noted that the chocolate and chicken actually worked well together.
Honestly, a lot of people watching the video are not impressed. I saw comments like, “I’m reporting this!” and a bunch of others saying restaurants are just doing anything for views these days, and it’s all just a gimmick. Some folks were seriously upset, saying this shouldn’t even be allowed and that places pulling stunts like this need to be shut down – one person even said it looked less like food and more like something you’d find in a hospital waiting room!

Burger Eats has been getting creative with their menu lately, introducing unique items like a chicken burger with peanut butter and jelly, a spicy chicken toastie, and chicken tenders coated in biscoff.
I’ve seen a lot of people saying they’re really curious about trying these crazy burger combinations, but they haven’t taken the plunge yet! Just a heads-up, most of them are around £10 or $13, so it’s definitely a bit of a treat when you get one.
