Borderlands 4 players are always looking for ways to improve their characters with powerful legendary items. Fortunately, the game’s latest update includes a new set of these items to help players create even stronger builds.
You can earn the special gear from the Legend of the Stone Demon DLC in a couple of ways: by finishing the Vault Card, or by defeating bosses like the optional boss, Chiselbella.
Here’s a guide to finding Chiselbella in the second bounty pack for Borderlands 4, and a list of all the legendary items she can drop.
Chiselbella Location

The optional bosses in Borderlands 4’s Legend of the Stone Demon DLC are all hidden inside a large mine, and finding them requires some exploration. The first boss you’ll likely encounter while exploring the mine is Chiselbella.
Once you arrive at the Demonhold fast travel point, head northeast into the mine. Continue until you reach a large, open chamber, then make your way to the northwest corner.
You’ll see a big waterfall at the top of this area. If you walk behind the waterfall, it will take you down a path heading north to a larger room.
Head north, climbing up the rocks in this room, then follow the path. This will take you outside the boss’s area, where you can jump down to battle Chiselbella.
Chiselbella Drops
There are two dedicated drops that Chiselbella has in its loot pool. These are the following:
| Name | Item Type | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| Mercurious | Submachine Gun | Fleet Footed – Increases damage based on the movement speed of the player. |
| Bubbles | Assault Rifle | Squeaky Clean – The assault rifle shoots elemental bubbles instead of standard ammo. |
Chiselbella’s first weapon is the Mercurious SMG. This gun does more damage the faster you move, which makes it especially effective for players using Rafa, who can significantly boost his movement speed.
You can boost this weapon’s power and your movement speed by combining it with the Risky Boots Firmware. Another option is the Bubbles Assault Rifle.
This weapon is special because it fires bubbles infused with elemental power instead of regular bullets, making it a unique and effective choice in battle.
Tips for Fighting Chiselbella
Chiselbella is a particularly frustrating boss, ranking among the most annoying in the game alongside opponents like Sludgemaw and Axemaul. Her constant movement during the fight makes her hard to target and hit.

When you start the fight with Chiselbella, you’ll see large crystals on her back. Like other bosses in this expansion, you need to break these crystals before you can start hurting her.
Okay, so when fighting this boss, there are a bunch of crystals you need to destroy first. There are two on the front, two on the back, and one on its tail – so keep moving to hit them all! Once they’re gone, switch to a fire weapon – its health bar turns red, meaning it’s super weak to fire at that point. It’s a pretty straightforward strategy, honestly.
During the battle, several weak enemies will wander into the arena. You can defeat them quickly, and they might be helpful if the boss proves too difficult.
