Okay, so Honor just showed off this crazy concept phone they’re calling the ‘Robot Phone,’ and it’s blowing my mind. The camera actually *moves* around – it can track stuff, and get this, it even shows *emotion*! It’s like having a little robotic buddy built into your phone.
Honor recently revealed its new phone on X, calling it a groundbreaking “AI phone.” The company says it uses a combination of smart AI technology, cutting-edge robotics, and an improved camera system.
The company described its product development as a progression – starting with the iPhone, then moving to an AI-powered phone, and ultimately becoming a ‘Robot Phone.’ They believe this approach will set them apart from Apple.

One video shows it comforting a crying baby with a gentle song, and another depicts it gazing at the stars with its owner. Even the camera lens moves realistically, appearing to nod and tilt in response to its surroundings.
What does the future hold for smart devices? In its announcement, Honor subtly criticized Apple, stating that while others focus on comparing the iPhone, Honor is prioritizing innovation and delivering genuine value to customers.
Honor hasn’t yet announced the details or launch date for its new product, but the company says it will share more information at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona.
China is rapidly integrating artificial intelligence into robots and everyday technology, resulting in innovations like self-driving cars, robots attending school, and even robotic sports competitions. As AI moves beyond research labs and into daily life, companies like Honor are developing new concepts to shape this increasingly AI-driven future.
