Cheats for The Sims: Legacy Collection are already being tested, and good news is they are working

Over two decades since the online world has evolved significantly, it can be challenging to recall or locate helpful tips for the latest remake of the original The Sims game. Sifting through your gaming experiences and the tales possibly shared among friends at school might seem daunting. Fortunately, publishers EA and developers MAXIS are somewhat supportive of cheats in The Sims 4, so you won’t feel like a rule-breaker while searching for these shortcuts to help you navigate the re-release more easily.

Re-immersing oneself into the The Sims: Legacy Collection might stir memories for players about how challenging the initial game could be. Fortunately, using cheats can help players boost their in-game currency, simoleons, and even manipulate the speed of the Sims while playing in real-time mode. This should definitely make the experience less demanding.

To activate cheats for The Sims: Legacy Collection, simply press the combination of keys `Ctrl + Shift + C`. This will open up the text command bar. In the gray box that appears at the top left corner of your screen, input the desired code and press enter. If the entered code is invalid due to a typo or because it doesn’t exist as a cheat, the game will let you know.

Gameplay, Build Mode, and Visual. Gameplay cheats enable actions such as increasing in-game currency or altering the time of day. Build Mode cheats grant you abilities to manipulate objects and modify the map. Visual cheats offer features like rotating the camera, revealing Sim’s interests, or even displaying Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, if desired.

I haven’t played a game in ages that offered cheat options, and just hearing the term “cheat code” takes me back to my childhood days when I used to play games like Roller Coaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, and The Sims. Discovering these old cheats seems like an ideal way to mark the 25th anniversary of these classic computer games.
