Adobe is now integrating Photoshop and other creative apps with ChatGPT. This lets users edit images and create designs simply by giving instructions to the chatbot.
Adobe has brought features from Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat into ChatGPT. Now, users can ask the ChatGPT chatbot to perform tasks like editing pictures, changing PDFs, or creating animations. Adobe’s software will handle the actual work in the background.
Adobe now lets people use ChatGPT to edit photos in Photoshop with specific instructions. You can ask ChatGPT to do things like remove or blur backgrounds, change brightness or exposure, and add different effects. ChatGPT will then show easy-to-use controls so you can adjust exactly how strong each edit is.

Using Express, people can ask for designs based on a specific theme, access artwork from Adobe’s collection, add motion to their projects, or customize existing templates. Plus, with Acrobat integration, ChatGPT can work with PDF files – merging them, changing or getting text from them, and even pulling out data from tables.
For those who want greater flexibility, ChatGPT will soon let users move their work directly into Adobe’s creative tools.
These new features are now being released worldwide. You can use Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat within ChatGPT on computers, the web, and iPhones/iPads. Currently, only Express is available on Android devices, but Photoshop and Acrobat will be added soon.
This launch builds on a series of AI updates Adobe has made this year, such as AI helpers for Express and Photoshop, and a first look at its Project Moonlight feature that works across multiple apps.
ChatGPT began allowing connections to other apps in October, initially working with companies like Canva, Spotify, Expedia, and Figma. As more apps are added, users might find that different tools offer similar features – for example, both Canva and Photoshop let you edit images.
