Apparently, Jorginho is saying that Chappell Roan’s security team was harassing his stepdaughter, and it’s blown up pretty quickly. Jorginho accuses Chappell Roan’s security of harassing daughter

I first heard about it when Jorginho posted a really long message on Instagram. He said something upsetting had happened with his family, and he wanted to share what was going on.

He said his 11-year-old stepdaughter, Ada Law (daughter of Jude Law and Catherine Harding), was thrilled to meet Roan and had even made a welcome sign. She spotted him at breakfast in the hotel where they were both staying.

It was a lucky chance that they were staying at the same hotel as the artist,” Frello explained. “During breakfast, the artist walked by their table, and my daughter, being a child, immediately recognized her and was thrilled to confirm it was really her.

She casually walked by the singer’s table, glanced to make sure it was really her, offered a quick smile, and then returned to her mother’s side. She didn’t speak or ask for an autograph.

Jorginho said that a security guard soon after confronted his wife and daughter, speaking to them very aggressively and accusing his daughter of being disrespectful and harassing someone.

Honestly, it really upset my daughter – she was crying and totally shaken up afterwards. The way they reacted was way over the top, it just didn’t fit the situation at all.

The footballer concluded his statement by saying that no one, particularly a child, should ever experience something like this.

Catherine Harding shares update after incident

After the first statement was released, Jorginho’s wife, Catherine Harding, also spoke about the issue on social media.

Their daughter, after seeing Sabrina Carpenter in concert the previous day, didn’t want to go to Roan’s concert anymore because of what happened. Instead, they spent the day shopping and had dinner together.

Harding explained that her daughter was understandably upset by everything that happened, but she wanted to let everyone know she’s doing okay thanks to the kind support she’s received.

Rio mayor says Chappel Roan not welcome

Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere replied to Frello’s statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In a social media post aimed at singer Chappell Roan, the city official stated she would not be allowed to perform at a major event, declaring, “While I’m in charge, Chappell Roan will not perform at Todo Mundo no Rio!”

Todo Mundo no Rio is a series of international music shows that take place in Rio de Janeiro.

Cavaliere also made Jorginho’s daughter a special guest at the event, which brought even more attention to the situation.

At the time of writing, Chappell Roan has not publicly responded to the accusations.
