From the initial announcement, and as more information became available, Ghost of Yotei was frequently compared to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Because Ghost of Tsushima, the game it builds upon, had previously drawn comparisons to the Assassin’s Creed series due to its focus on stealth, it was natural for those parallels to extend to Ghost of Yotei as well. However, the similarities between Ghost of Yotei and Assassin’s Creed Shadows weren’t limited to gameplay; both games feature a story where a young woman seeks revenge for her parents’ murder. But after playing Ghost of Yotei, I’ve realized it actually shares more in common with another highly anticipated game this year: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Two days ago, Reddit user bertik11 shared that they believe Kingdom Come: Deliverance (KCD 1) will receive an update next year, essentially a next-generation version. They anticipate the release will be sometime between January and April. However, no specific information about what the update will include has been released yet.

While the victim’s body doesn’t offer many immediate answers, this helpful clue leads me on a complicated and unpredictable journey as I try to unravel a series of puzzling murders in Kuttenberg. This gruesome investigation kicks off The Fifth Commandment side quest, and it’s easily the most captivating and enjoyable questline I’ve experienced in Warhorse’s RPG to date.

When the time comes, Capcom will stop supporting Monster Hunter: World, Monster Hunter Rise, and Monster Hunter Wilds on Windows 10. This doesn’t mean the games will instantly stop working, but future updates to either your operating system or the games themselves might cause compatibility issues on Windows 10 systems.

At Tokyo Game Show 2025, Capcom revealed exciting news for Monster Hunter Stories fans: both Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin are coming to Xbox for the first time! Players will be able to enjoy these games on both Xbox One and the newer Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The powerful mechanical boss Omega Planetes from Final Fantasy XIV is coming to Monster Hunter, and players will need to work together to defeat it. To help with this challenge, two new job classes inspired by FF14 are being added in the Wilds update: Dark Knight and Pictomancer. Dark Knights can equip special armor to protect themselves and withstand strong attacks, while Pictomancers use illusions to cast powerful spells on their foes.

The biggest news from Tokyo Game Show for Monster Hunter Wilds was the announcement of Title Update 4, bringing back the popular monster Gogmazios from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in December. We also learned more about Title Update 3, which is heavily featuring MMO-style gameplay thanks to a collaboration with Final Fantasy 14. However, when thinking about what will likely generate the most revenue for Capcom, the third pack of cosmetic DLC seems like a safe bet.

Console players of Kingdom Come Deliverance will receive update 1.041, which fixes problems with how characters act, issues with quests, and other bugs.

The Deluxe Upgrade Pack features two new outfits – the Forged Iron and Radiant Costumes – plus the Hooked Blade Spear and Blazing Nightlotus weapons. We’re also planning to add two more outfits and two more weapons in updates coming in 2025. As a bonus, all players will get the Bo Sorcerer’s Crown and Ming Army Helmet for free.
