I’ve been checking out this new game, Where Winds Meet, being made by Everstone Studios, and it looks awesome! It’s a free-to-play online RPG set in an open world, and it’s based on this cool Chinese genre called Wuxia. If you’ve ever seen movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you’ll get the idea – think martial arts, fantasy, and a bit of magic all rolled into one.

The *Monster Hunter Now* Autumn Hunt 2025 event gives players a chance to hunt the powerful Elder Dragon Malzeno and earn special rewards during a limited-time quest. Successfully defeating or driving off Malzeno in this quest will grant players an exclusive hunter medal, a unique guild card background, materials to upgrade weapons and armor, and materials specifically from Malzeno.

A new trailer is coming shortly after Capcom announced Monster Hunter Stories 3 amiibo. Both the amiibo and the game will be available on March 13, 2026. If you haven’t seen them yet, you can check out the extended release date trailer from TGS 2025, as well as the announcements for Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, now available on Xbox One, to get ready for the new release.

We’ll consider the Freedom series as updates to the games they’re based on, and this list will only include the main Monster Hunter titles – not spin-offs. ZeniMax Online Studios, established in 2007, gained a large fanbase with the popular game, The Elder Scrolls Online. The game continues to attract new players and has generated nearly $2 billion in revenue since 2014. Recently, however, Microsoft layoffs impacted the studio, resulting in over 300 job losses. This included staff working on a new, unannounced game called Project Blackbird, which Xbox has now cancelled. Fortunately, some of those affected have joined forces to create a new, independent game studio owned by its employees.

As a huge Devil May Cry fan, what always gets me is the incredible action. It really kicked off the whole 3D action genre, and honestly, I think the combat in games like Devil May Cry 3 and 5 is still the best around. But it’s not *just* about the action – the story is surprisingly good! It’s over-the-top and dramatic, but I always find myself getting really invested. And somehow, even with all the story cutscenes, it never slows down the gameplay, which is amazing.

Despite some challenges, *Monster Hunter Wilds* quickly became Capcom’s best-selling game ever, shipping 8 million copies in just three days. At Gamescom, fans were thrilled to hear about a crossover with *Final Fantasy 14*, which will add new outfits, a challenging boss fight against Omega Planetes, and the option to play as a Dark Knight or Pictomancer. While this new content brought some players back, overall feedback hasn’t been great, as the event isn’t addressing the game’s biggest issues.

The Title Update 3 (TU3) for Monster Hunter Wilds brought a lot of new content, with the Final Fantasy 14 collaboration being a major addition. But the most exciting part of the update is definitely the new monster, Omega Planetes. Typically, monsters in Monster Hunter World come with one armor set and a few weapons – one for each of the 14 weapon types.
