As a huge fan, I’m cautiously optimistic about this deal. Even though the company has a ton of money, it’s still a long way from being finalized. They need approval from regulators in the US and Europe, and there’s a real chance David Ellison and Paramount might try to block it altogether. Honestly, someone at Warner Bros. Discovery told me on Friday they think there’s only a 50/50 chance it actually goes through! And even if it does get approved, it could take a year and a half, or even longer, to actually happen. It’s definitely not a done deal yet.

Tom Cruise is the most famous example – his distinctive running form, with bent elbows and knees, is a key part of the successful Mission: Impossible films. These actors all appear to have a natural athleticism and stamina, seemingly without any physical limitations.

DC Studios revealed the new Superman suit at CCXP. It closely resembles the costume worn by David Corenswet in the film Superman, featuring a classic blue texture and the iconic “S” shield.

For a job that awful, you need someone incredibly likable and unassuming – someone who can deliver terrible news with a gentle, reassuring presence. This person needs to be endlessly optimistic, deeply compassionate, and genuinely approachable – basically, a golden retriever in human form. Someone like John Cena.

Lucasfilm has announced that a restored version of the original Star Wars movie from 1977 will be shown in theaters for a limited time starting February 19, 2027. Originally planned for April 30th, the release date has been moved up, which is unusual! More importantly, this will be the first time in many years that audiences can officially see the original version of A New Hope in theaters, as it hasn’t been widely available for quite some time.
