CBS is building a team around Austin Stowell’s character, Gibbs, at Camp Pendleton, using both new and returning faces. While Franks is important, Mariel Molino’s character, Lala, is arguably the most influential person in Gibbs’ life during this period. She’s not only a colleague but also Gibbs’ love interest in this prequel, which does create some continuity challenges. However, their developing relationship remains captivating.

The first season of Landman had its flaws. The show leaned too heavily into the sexualization of Tommy’s teenage daughter, Ainsley (played by Michelle Randolph of 1923), which became uncomfortable. Perhaps the biggest mistake was underusing Demi Moore, a talented actress, who only appeared in a small portion of the season with limited lines.

The title promises a more personal story than it actually delivers, relying heavily on Eddie Murphy’s own commentary and supportive remarks from his friends. Fellow Netflix comedian Dave Chappelle jokingly compares himself to LeBron James, positioning Eddie Murphy as the Michael Jordan of comedy.

During a November 2025 Q&A for The Cosmic Circus, Alex Perez revealed that Gamora won’t be in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars. When discussing the future of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Perez explained that Gamora will be removed from the team, linking her absence to the broader multiverse storyline. While she won’t physically appear, Perez indicated that her story will still be relevant, serving as a case study of how universes are becoming increasingly connected. He clarified that the Gamora seen in Endgame and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 isn’t from the main timeline, which explains her eventual departure.

Bluebird Gleeson and Travis “Trigger” Riggs have both faced uncertainty in Season 3 of NCIS: Sydney. After the events of “True Blue,” Bluebird had to formally apply for her job as a forensic scientist to officially rejoin the team. Travis, a former bomb disposal expert, has been assisting when needed since the season began, but feels like a temporary addition who could be let go at any time.

Both Rio (2011) and Rio 2 (2014), the animated musical comedies, are coming to Netflix in the US on December 1, 2025. This is part of the new content being added to Netflix that month, according to What’s on Netflix.
