As a total movie and TV buff, I’m always on the hunt for what to watch next, and Ebaster is quickly becoming my go-to. They send out weekly guides with everything from the latest releases to classic shows I already love – seriously, my Apple TV watchlist is always full thanks to them! And their top pick? It’s a show everyone needs to see – it absolutely crushed it with 13 Emmy wins and is easily one of the best series of the 21st century.

As a huge movie fan, I’ve been following the Avatar saga closely, and it’s been amazing to see James Cameron’s vision grow. Originally, the sequel to the first film was going to be one movie, but it eventually split into two, with Avatar: The Way of Water being just the first part. Now, the second half of that story, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is finally here! And it doesn’t stop there – Cameron’s still planning two more Avatar films, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5, which are currently in the works. It’s a massive undertaking, and I’m excited to see where he takes the story!

I was hooked from the first episode! Seeing Maia and Tallulah waiting for Tenants of the Trees felt so… LA. And that Wi Spa shirt Tallulah wore? It was a sneaky little detail that made me realize she was going to be trouble. The finale was wild – Charlie flying all that Din Tai Fung to his ex felt like a surprisingly sweet, if a little basic, gesture. Luckily, the show got renewed for a second season, and I’m already excited to see where they take us – and which iconic LA (and now NY!) spots they feature next.

Prime Video has shared the first images from the upcoming series, featuring Damian Lillard kneeling in a field and a sneak peek at Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross. You can see the photos below.

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike, and Natalia Dyer, who plays Nancy, actually asked the creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer Brothers, for more opportunities to act together. According to People magazine, Wolfhard shared during a panel discussion at The Paley Museum in New York City that he and Dyer specifically requested more scenes together in the show’s final season.

KPop Demon Hunters centers around three K-pop stars who secretly fight demons, and their friendship is strained when one of them reveals she’s half-demon. The show has received excellent reviews, broken streaming records, performed well in theaters for two weeks, and its music has become incredibly popular, topping the charts.

I just got a first look at some images from the new movie, This Is Not a Test, and they’re definitely grabbing my attention. The first one shows Sloane, played by Olivia Holt, completely covered in blood – talk about a dramatic start! The second image features Sloane alongside Moore’s character and a bunch of their classmates, and everyone looks absolutely terrified. It’s setting up a really intense vibe, and I’m intrigued to see what’s going on.

Daniel Craig often expressed his reluctance to continue playing James Bond, but he ultimately stayed on to give fans the conclusion they wanted. This allowed his version of the character to have a more complete story and a fitting end. The way No Time to Die ended was particularly notable, as it made Craig’s Bond the first to actually die, bringing a definitive close to his time as 007. However, it’s not just the ending that should influence the next actor to take on the role; another aspect of the film could significantly impact their portrayal of the iconic spy.

The new hockey documentary series is surprisingly similar to the 1986 musical Chess, which features songs by ABBA and lyrics by Tim Rice – currently revived on Broadway. Like Heated Rivalry isn’t really about hockey, Chess isn’t really about chess. Both use the sport as a backdrop to explore deeper themes. Chess uses chess as a metaphor for love, masculinity, and the Cold War, while Heated Rivalry uses hockey to amp up the already intense sexual tension and rivalry. Both shows pit male characters against each other, burdened by national expectations and struggling with personal relationships. The East versus West dynamic fuels the competition in both stories. Interestingly, the social media team for the Broadway production of Chess is actively highlighting these parallels.
