Starting January 15, 2026, Paramount+ will be raising its subscription prices. The plan with ads will cost $8.99 per month, up from $7.99. The ad-free plan will increase to $13.99 per month.

Glen Powell solidifies his status as a major action star in this remake of the 1987 film The Running Man, which originally starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has publicly supported the new version. Despite the hype, the sci-fi film launched with a disappointing 71% score from critics, making it one of the lowest-rated movies of the year so far. It premiered on November 14th.

As Wright explains to Ebaster, he was able to stay true to his vision. “We really got to make the movie we wanted to make,” he says.
